Nikki Reed: I’m Wearing A Wig!
Nikki Reed recently caught up with MTV to dish about the much-anticipated Twilight sequel, New Moon.
The 20-year-old actress shared with the music channel on why she’s not dyeing her hair back to blonde and the overall styles of the Cullen family. Check it:
On opting for a blonde wig: “My hair fell out. It took 36 hours initially to make me blond, and every other day, I was bleaching my head and my skin. This time around, we are testing out different wigs and stuff. I know how upset everyone is going to be, but [my devotion to Rosalie] is why I did it initially.”
On the hairstyles of the Cullen clan: “I think we are just perfecting it. I think it will be a little bit different, and we’ll perfect it for the best. We weren’t expecting all the weather issues and all the makeup we had to put on. Every single character [had a hard time]. I know a lot of people think it was just me that changed how I looked physically, but Peter Facinelli has black hair, and he has to go back blond [for New Moon]. And Kellan Lutz, who is a natural blond, has to go back to dark hair.”
New Moon is currently filming in Vancouver, Canada.

Nikki Reed: I’m So Proud of Taylor!
Nikki, 20, recently dished to People that she couldn’t be prouder of costar Taylor Lautner. She shared, “I’m so proud of him. He didn’t have the part. Everybody knew he was going to have to fight for this. He was at the gym twice or three times a day. He was on a nutrition and workout regime for the last year not knowing if he would be in this film. We were all on edge. It got closer and closer, and it was heartbreaking. Kristen [Stewart] and I were in Africa when we got the call saying he got the part. She’s so stoked.”

In a bright yellow tee, Nikki Reed wears her support for American rock band Velvet Underground as she spends the day out and about with friends in West Hollywood on Tuesday afternoon (March 17).
The 20-year-old Twilight actress shopped at a store on La Cienga Boulevard then headed out to grab some lunch at Whole Foods.
Nikki was most recently seen at the movie premiere for Adventureland, BFF Kristen Stewart’s new flick. The duo will be heading to Italy soon to start filming the much-anticipated Twilight sequel, New Moon.

Nikki Reed Returns to La La Land
Nikki Reed jokes around with gal pal Sage as they arrive at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Monday afternoon (April 20).
Over the weekend, Nikki, 20, and the New Moon cast took in a few shows of Sage and her band performing around Vancouver, Canada.
According to TwilightMoms, Sage and The Dills are trying to get one of their songs, “Dawn,” on the New Moon soundtrack. You can take a listen on their official MySpace page.
