Isabel is a young woman who had to take care of her younger sister after the death of her parents. In order to pay for the expensive boarding school where Rocio studies, Isabel takes a job as a dancer in a bar, while making her sister think she’s a prestigious psychologist.

One day, Isabel meets Javier – the love of her life. Javier, believing Isabel is an important psychologist, confides in her care to cure the trauma caused by the death of his twin brother and to learn how to deal with the constant blackmailing his mother Nieves subjects him to. As she blames him for his brother’s death.

Javier and Isabel fall hopelessly in love, but Isabel fears that Javier will leave her when he realizes that she isn’t a psychologist, but a bar dancer. Without succeeding many times she fails to confess her secret to Javier.

The villains intervene and tell Javier the truth, leaving Isabel with a broken heart. However, the love Javier feels for Isabel is strong enough for him to forgive her deceit. When he goes looking for her, he finds out that she is not only a bar dancer, but also has a son, who in reality is her nephew.

Isabel and Rocio share their heartbreaks and dreams with their bar and boarding school girlfriends, who also have their own conflicts and love stories.

To win back Javier’s love, Isabel will have to fight and confront situations which society finds difficult to accept.
