Kate is rattled. Dave's imminent move to Africa has awoken old feelings and whenever she sees him now she lapses into daydreams of Dave declaring his love for her. Jodi challenges Kate to tell Dave she still loves him but Kate won't do it. She doesn't want to interfere with his plans and she is also scared of having her heart broken once again.
Over at Killarney, Fiona turns up claiming half the furniture and sets the tone of the conflict by chainsawing the dining room table in half. Alex reluctantly phones his biological father Bryce for help whose advice is to settle or Fiona will make Alex's life an expensive misery. Bryce offers to put up the money through an investment in Killarney.
Riley wants to join the CFS, but Jodi takes this as a clumsy ploy to get near her and just as things between the two appear to be warming up, a familiar face returns to town.
A vengeful stalker threatens to destroy Drovers Run. After Regan discovers her trying to torch her room, the truth comes out; Tayler is the daughter of a mine disaster victim and wants revenge on Regan. Regan's heart crumbles—she will take this girl under her wing and see if they can find some healing together.
