After graduation Kargel first trained as a bookseller. She also plays in the theater group Green dog , which she co-founded in 2002. The theater company Green Dog plays mainly pieces of the Russian writer Daniil Kharms .
Kargel was a wider audience in the role of Lena Bachmann announced that she dated 26 April 2004 (series 2961) to 22 March 2006 (series 3447) in the RTL - soap opera Good Times, Bad Times personified. She got off the show because she wanted to devote himself professionally more challenging. After Kargel after their exit from GZSZ played only minor guest roles, she was from June 2010 to October 2011 in the telenovela Storm of Love as a female protagonist in the role of Eva Krendlinger seen.
