TELEMUNDO REPORTS RATINGS GROWTH AMONG ALL KEY DEMOGRAPHICS FOR THE MONTH OF JULY
“Donde Esta Elisa?” Becomes Telemundo's Highest-Rated Novela In Network History

MIAMI – July 29, 2010 – Telemundo, a leading producer of high-quality content for Hispanics in the U.S. and audiences around the world, announced its July NTI results today.
In Monday though Friday prime time, the network experienced both year-over-year and month-to-month increases among Adults 18-49, gaining +10% over July 2009 (610,000 vs. 556,000) and +3% over June 2010 (594,000). Telemundo's delivery among Women 18-49 and total viewers (Persons 2+) also grew over both periods. Among Women 18-49, Telemundo reported a +34% increase over July 2009 (367,000 vs. 274,000) and +5% compared with June 2010’s delivery (349,000), while total viewers (Persons 2+) grew by +9% compared with July 2009 (1,078,000 vs. 987,000) and +6% over June 2010 (1,016,000).
In July, Telemundo was the #2 Spanish-language broadcast network in Monday through Friday prime among key demos delivering a +125% lead over its closest competitor among Women 18-49 (367,000 vs. 163,000) and a +79% advantage among Women 18-34 (186,000 vs. 104,000) in Monday through Friday prime.
In Monday through Sunday prime, the network delivered month-over-month momentum among Adults 18-49, delivering a +4% increase in the demographic (569,000 vs. 547,000). Telemundo saw both month-over-month and year-over-year growth among total viewers (Persons 2+) and the key female Women 18-49 and Women 18-34 demographics. Among total viewers, Telemundo reported an increase over July 2009 (1,004,000 vs. 1,000,000) and +8% growth over June 2010 (933,000). Women 18-49 viewers grew by +16% compared to July 2009 (320,000 vs. 277,000) and +7% over June 2010 (298,000), while viewers among Women 18-34 increased by +4% over July 2009 (170,000 vs. 163,000) and +4% over June 2010 (163,000).
In July, Telemundo was the #2 Spanish-language broadcast network across all key demographics, delivering a +111% lead over its closest competitor among Women 18-49 (320,000 vs. 152,000) and a +81% lead among Women 18-34 (170,000 vs. 94,000) in Monday through Sunday prime.

Highlights
With a premiere-to-date average of 955,000 Adults 18-49 and nearly 1.6 million total viewers (Persons 2+), Donde Esta Elisa has become Telemundo's highest rated novela in network history. For the second month in a row, Donde Esta Elisa averaged more than one million Adults 18-49 with 1,026,000 in July.
Donde Esta Elisa’s wide appeal was evident, as the novela increased Telemundo’s performance over the July 2009 time period delivery by double-digits across all key demographic groups, including +80% among Women 18-49 (618,000 vs. 344,000) and +58% among Adults 18-49 (1,026,000 vs. 650,000).
Coming to a conclusion in July, Perro Amor's full-run averaged 627,000 Adults 18-49. On average, Perro Amor delivered more than one million total viewers (Persons 2+) each night over the course of its network run.

Ratings and Awards for ¿Dónde está Elisa?

International awards for TVN Chile's production this June at the Banff World Television Festival Rockie Award, held in Canada.

TVN Chile's original telenovela, 'Dónde está Elisa?', which is distributed by Telemundo International, won the award for Best Soap Opera at the latest edition of the Banff World Television Festival Rockie Awards 2010.

Marcos Santana, President of Telemundo International said "'Dónde está Elisa?' contains all the necessary elements to become a worldwide phenomenon: a great script, outstanding performances and excellent production quality. We are very pleased that this production has been recognized by an event as prestigious as the Banff World Television Festival Rockie Awards."

The Pablo Illanes' original story competed for the Best Soap Opera award with 'EastEnders' and 'The Bold and The Beautiful'. The ceremony took place in Canada for the Banff World Television Festival's 31st ceremony.

Ernesto Lombardi, International Director for Televisión Nacional de Chile said that the network is "very excited to have received this award at the Banff World Television Festival Rockie Award, confirming the excellence of this telenovela and its international potential."
